We 100% would have chosen to not put some that we paid for as well as add ones in places that are inexplicably short on outlets. The "well the code blah blah blah" excuse was complete BS. Matt was friendly but made promises to complete work and then didn't follow through with much of it.

Disappointed that we met your deadlines to make selections. Were told needed to do this so you could order our selections. But you waited 6 mos to order things like kitchen cabinets and it caught you and us in the supply chain issues.
Once you settle and Classic has your money, the level of service drops significantly. If something happens after settle, don’t expect management to care. The floors in our house feel uneven to us at the seams. Even after they tried to fix it after we moved in, I can still feel where floorboards meet. We loved how great the communication is, and how willing they are to go over issues. He provided all the information that we requested and was super fast with responses.

COMMUNITY CLOSING OUT.
This is a projected, optional single-family house from... Floors are already creaking in multiple places. Vent was leaking over the bathroom during a bad winter storm. Seems like a pretty young home to already be having those issues. Process was smooth and easy with very few issues when we moved in. Those issues have been mostly resolved after almost a year of living in the house at no additional expense.
Nobody took ownership and always had an answer if “not sure when the sewer will be done” never did get a straight answer up till close date. Oh well...hoping the developer gets the back fence in that was told would be done by move in date. Information about the whole process as well as during each phase was ample. Classic reps were professional from the front office down to the field reps. Quality of materials was fantastic. Contractors/Trades actually working in the house did not pay enough attention to detail or worked with enough care to preserve the quality environments. Cleaners did not clean out sinks, did not clean the windows, barely vacuumed, cabinets and drawers still had debris, door hardware was not free of dried paint, and dirt/dust was excessive in the basement.

Our cabinets don't shut all the way after even six months of obviously constant use.
Hayden was also phenomenal for the same reasons. We felt we had an excellent personal connection with him. Cheryl was helpful when Hayden wasn't available. Our designer Cheryl did a great job helping us make choices. Our 1 big issue with the design process was the electrical outlets. Telling us that we had to decide where we wanted to install extra outlets while refusing to tell us where the included ones would go or even how many there would be is ridiculous.
Our ever-changing world presents new and exciting possibilities for improvement. We believe in constantly looking for better ways to do things — never settling for status quo. Problems are opportunities and challenges are doorways to a better future.
As we embrace wellness in all aspects of our lives, we experience an unmatched level of joy and peace. At Sterling Ranch, we’re intentionally creating a community where joy resides.
